SD Wears 3rd Year Anniversary is just around the corner and to honor this great time in Second Life, SD Wears would love to showcase fan art on the walls of the new store, scheduled to open mid-February.
Contest Ends: Feb 5 2010
Winners announced: Feb 7th 2010
There’s no theme required; however, I am looking for creative showcasing of your SD Wears clothing style. The photos will be used inside the store as a display ad or poster ad. Your name will be displayed on the photo to give you credit for the outstanding picture and will be shown on the SD Wears website.
Winners will get a $1000 gift card (2x $500 gift card so you can share with a friend if you like) + you will be reimbursed the cost of your outfit (regardless of when you bought it, full price refund given will be current sale value).
Some minor conditions:
1. Photos can be of any dimension but no smaller 256 x 512 or 512 x 512 and must be in Targa format (.tga format).
2. You are welcome to add your own artistic touch and photoshopping is welcome.
3. No more then three entries per person.
4. You may only submit work that you are the legitimate creator of and/or you may use a photographer to take and photoshop your pictures, but you MUST credit them as the creator of the photograph.
5. By participating in this contest and accepting the prize, prize-winner acknowledges having read and accepted these rules and consents to publication of name & picture to SL related websites, SL Blogs, and within the SD Wears branded stores without further compensation.

I am a humble person. Really I am. I am thankful for everything I have in life, including my health, the love that surrounds me and even the freezing cold snowy weather we have here in Canada. I’m a lot of things really, but I know for sure, right now I feel very honoured.
Let me just do the quick dictionary search on what honoured means. “to hold in honor or high respect…” Yup, that is me for sure. Wanna know why? I would like to call this gal ‘A good SL friend‘ . Her name is Delaynie Barbosa. Some of you may know her as the owner and designer of OuTRage Clothing. Simply, I am honoured to be her friend. I could make a list of the reasons why I’m honoured to have a friend like her, but to keep things relatively simple, I’m just gonna sum it up in one picture:
After months and months of me hinting at her to make a swimsuit from her Miranda series and to do it with chocolate brown and pink polka-dots, she finally did it. The best part is, she named this swimsuit after me. Yes me! Friggen awesome. Life could not get any better in SL since now I have my very own swimsuit named after me. I’m truly honoured.
Now to get this swimsuit, you will have to hurry. She is only selling like 50 of them and she does not have a bunch left. Visit here to get it.
